Description

A delightful pizza recipe combining the earthiness of mushrooms, creaminess of cheese, and the freshness of spinach and artichokes.

Ingredients

  • 1 pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely grated
  • 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 5 ounces cooked spinach, squeezed dry and chopped
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 can (14 ounces) artichoke hearts, drained and quartered

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough. Start by lightly oiling a baking sheet. Shape the pizza dough according to your preferred thickness, placing it onto the sheet.
  2. Add the Garlic Oil & Toppings. In a small bowl, combine olive oil and finely grated garlic. Use a brush to evenly coat the dough with this mixture. Next, dot cream cheese generously on top, followed by layering spinach, mushrooms, mozzarella, Parmesan, and artichokes.
  3. Bake. Preheat your oven to a sizzling 500°F (260°C). Carefully slide the pizza into the oven and bake for 10–15 minutes. Keep a close watch until the cheese is melted and the crust achieves that desirable golden hue.
  4. Serve. After removing the pizza from the oven, let it cool for about a minute. Then, slice into wedges and serve warm, allowing the flavors to shine.

Notes

For a quick meal, consider using store-bought dough or a pre-made crust. Incorporate fresh herbs such as basil or oregano for an additional layer of flavor.
