Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup ketchup (plus extra for topping)
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce (for glaze)
Instructions
1. Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, onion, garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, paprika, and cayenne.
3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it on a wire rack or baking sheet.
4. Smoke for about 2-3 hours, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
5. During the last 30 minutes, brush the meatloaf with BBQ sauce for a flavorful glaze.
6. Remove from the smoker
