Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by chopping the onion, garlic, and potatoes.
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tsp olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until the onion is translucent (about 3-4 minutes).
- Add the ground turkey to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until no longer pink.
- Stir in 1 tsp paprika and season with salt and pepper, then add diced potatoes and mix well.
- Cover the skillet and reduce the heat to low, cooking for about 20-25 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
- Once done, taste and adjust seasonings as needed, garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve hot.
Notes
Let the dish rest for a few minutes before serving for better flavor meld. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
