Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat until foaming.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant and golden.
- Add the shrimp in a single layer and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
- Stir in the lemon juice and immediately remove from heat.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Marinate shrimp in garlic and lemon juice for 15-30 minutes before cooking for added flavor. For a kick, add red pepper flakes.
