  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat until foaming.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant and golden.
  3. Add the shrimp in a single layer and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Stir in the lemon juice and immediately remove from heat.
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Marinate shrimp in garlic and lemon juice for 15-30 minutes before cooking for added flavor. For a kick, add red pepper flakes.
