Description
Banana bread with cake mix is an easy, delicious treat made with ripe bananas and a boxed cake mix for a moist and flavorful loaf.
Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
3. Add eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
4. Stir in the cake mix and cinnamon until just combined.
5. Fold in nuts or chocolate chips if using.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
8. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan.
9. Slice and enjoy!
