Ingredients
- 7 cups frozen tater tots
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 8 oz softened cream cheese
- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 packet (1 oz) Italian dressing mix
- 1/2 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks. Once browned, drain any excess grease.
- In a medium bowl, mix Italian dressing mix, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, melted butter, and softened cream cheese until smooth.
- In a greased baking pan, combine the cooked beef with the creamy sauce, mixing well to coat the beef.
- Layer the tater tots evenly over the top of the beef mixture.
- Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden and crispy. Let cool before serving.
Notes
For extra creaminess, add shredded cheese into the sauce before mixing with the beef.
