A creamy and rich dish combining tender beef, garlic, and Parmesan for a comforting bowl of pasta.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 12 oz bowtie pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
- Extra Parmesan for garnish
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the beef broth, heavy cream, and Italian seasoning. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Gradually stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Meanwhile, cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the creamy beef sauce. If the sauce needs thinning, add the reserved pasta water gradually.
- Stir everything together until well coated. Top with extra Parmesan and chopped parsley. Serve hot.
Notes
For a lighter option, use ground turkey and substitute heavy cream with a lighter cream.
