Ingredients
8 oz linguine or fettuccine
2 tbsp gochujang paste
3 cloves garlic, minced
3/4 cup heavy cream
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp butter or olive oil
Salt to taste
Chopped scallions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve
- ½ cup of pasta water and drain.
- a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté garlic for 1 minute.
- Add gochujang paste and stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in a splash of pasta water and stir, then add heavy cream slowly while mixing.
- Add soy sauce and reduce heat to low. Simmer until slightly thickened, about 2–3 minutes.
- Toss cooked pasta into the sauce and stir to coat evenly. Add sesame oil and adjust salt.
- Serve hot with chopped scallions and sesame seeds on top.
Notes
- You can swap heavy cream with coconut milk for a vegan version.
- Add shrimp, bacon, or tofu for extra protein.
- Reheat gently with a splash of milk or pasta water to restore creaminess.
