Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  2. While the pasta cooks, heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove chicken from skillet and let rest before slicing into bite-sized pieces. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream, stirring until it begins to simmer. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
