Description

These delightful bites combine the richness of brie cheese with tart cranberry sauce, wrapped in a flaky pastry shell.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed, but still cold)
  • 6 oz brie cheese (cut into small cubes)
  • ½ cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 3-inch squares.
  3. Place a few cubes of brie cheese on each square and top with cranberry sauce.
  4. Fold the corners of each pastry square toward the center and pinch to seal.
  5. Brush the edges with an egg wash and add more cranberry sauce on top if desired.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed up.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes and garnish with fresh herbs.

Notes

For added flavor, sprinkle sea salt on top before baking. Chill the assembled bites for 15-20 minutes before baking for better shape.
