Ingredients
- 1 cup breakfast sausage
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
- In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned, then drain.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the cooked sausage and cheddar cheese.
- Fill the muffin tins about 3/4 full with the batter.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the muffins are golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let them cool slightly before serving.
