A delightful combination of fresh green beans, garlic, and melted cheese, perfect as a side dish for any meal.
Ingredients
- 1 pound (about 500 g) fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 and 1/4 cups mozzarella, shredded
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons shredded fresh parmesan
- 4 garlic cloves, chopped (or 1 tablespoon pre-minced garlic)
- 3/4 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Set your oven to 425°F (220°C). Spray a baking sheet with nonstick oil.
- Spread green beans flat on the baking sheet.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, Parmesan, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the green beans and toss to coat evenly.
- Bake for about 20 minutes until the beans are bright and slightly crispy.
- Sprinkle mozzarella on top and broil for 4 to 5 minutes, until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Serve hot, and enjoy the delightful flavors!
Notes
For extra crisp, blanch the green beans before baking. Experiment with different cheeses or add herbs for variation.
