Ingredients

  • 1 pound (about 500 g) fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 and 1/4 cups mozzarella, shredded
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons shredded fresh parmesan
  • 4 garlic cloves, chopped (or 1 tablespoon pre-minced garlic)
  • 3/4 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper


Instructions

  1. Set your oven to 425°F (220°C). Spray a baking sheet with nonstick oil.
  2. Spread green beans flat on the baking sheet.
  3. In a bowl, mix olive oil, Parmesan, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the mixture over the green beans and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Bake for about 20 minutes until the beans are bright and slightly crispy.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella on top and broil for 4 to 5 minutes, until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
