Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 2 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh herbs (like chives or parsley) for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a baking dish with butter or oil and layer half of the thinly sliced potatoes at the bottom.
- Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over the potatoes.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Pour mixture evenly over the layered potatoes and cheese.
- Add the remaining potatoes on top and finish with the rest of the cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the eggs are set and the top is golden and bubbly.
